CCYTEM announces the creation of the Science Fair “Museo Fest 2022” – La Crónica de Morelos | News

• The Mathematics Room will be inaugurated to live a unique and fun experience

In a press conference, held at the Morelos Science Museum inside the San Miguel Acapantzingo Ecological Park, the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (SDEyT), through its boss Ana Cecilia Rodríguez González, presented the preparation of the science fair “Museum Fest 2022”.

The above, in commemoration of the thirteenth anniversary of the opening to the public of the Science Museum of the Morelos State Council of Science and Technology (CCyTEM), of the Morelos Center for Communication of Science (CeMoCC).

The celebration will take place on Friday 29 April of the current year, from 10:30 to 15:00, in which more than 32 research centers, seven universities of the institution and five independent disseminators will participate; In addition, scientific and technological exhibitions and workshops are planned for children and adolescents from attending schools.

In this regard, Cecilia Rodríguez reported “We continue to work according to the State Development Plan, in Axis 5 ‘Modernity for the people of Morelos’, in this sense I am happy to say that we are on track to seek the consolidation of a knowledge society that responds to the needs and challenges of the environment in the State “.

In the same context, he recognized that the Museum has positioned itself as a recreational and educational space for the population of all ages, promoting scientific culture, so that in this event they can live a multidisciplinary experience in the company of the family.

During this fair, the CCyTEM authorities will officially inaugurate the Mathematics Room called “Infinite”, where visitors will be able to strengthen and apply their knowledge in a fun way on the topics: natural numbers, knots, reflections and equations.

Furthermore, they will be able to see the augmented reality classrooms, this tool in which the virtual image is integrated with the real image and visitors discover some curiosities about the contents of the museum in a more interactive way; know the importance of water, the types of energy and aspects of the universe.

Finally, the state official indicated that this event will have the health protocols established by the authorities, reminding those present the mandatory use of the mask, also underlining that all the activities carried out on this day will be completely free.

The meeting was attended by Andrea Angélica Paulín Ramírez, head of the CCyTEM office; and Adrián Margarito Medina Canizal, director of CeMoCC.
