as shown on Transport diary On February 3, 2022, on a visit to the Santa Rita complex, where the current control is located, Mayor Ricardo Nunes promised that by the end of 2023 the new Operations Center (COP) will be operational in the same location.
The space will host the new SMGO (System of Monitoring and Operational Management of Public Transport of the City of São Paulo), which, according to the city hall, will monitor the fleet through more modern technologies on board buses such as cameras, passenger counter services, wi -fi, traffic control and metering.

The new embedded technology is foreseen in the contracts signed in September 2019 with the bus companies, valid for 15 years.
To receive approval, Noxxon has been verified by the TUV Rheinland Brasil certifier, “Proving to be able to install the approved equipment on the buses of the Collective Public Transport System for Passengers in the city of Sao Paulo”as the official publication says.
