Not even the sky seems to be the limit for the skyscrapers of Balneário Camboriú, the highest in Brazil. In Barra Sul, the “Neymar’s building”, Pininfarina’s Yachthouse, has the tallest inhabited towers in Latin America. To allow the construction of the more than 281 meters of each tower, the construction company sought international and innovative technologies.
One of the highlights are the super fast elevators. The speed of the can reach six meters per second. In other words, it is possible to reach the top of the building in less than a minute.
To ensure operation with high travel and speed, it is necessary to offer a differentiated system in mechanical components, traction cables with reduced elongation and great mechanical performance.
“We need a reliable and high-precision electronic system, and in particular the know-how and experience that we have gained through installations with this purpose around the world”, says the head of sales and marketing management of the new installations of Atlas Schindler, Luis Schindler world.
The building has 22 elevators in all and 10 have the unique differential in the residential building segment, the Port Technology traffic management system. The call is made directly in the landing hall, instead of the traditional password or biometry systems in the cabins.
“The fastest model on the market will be destined for the upper floors of the residential area. Other models that will be limited to common spaces will follow the existing residential scheme in Brazil ”, explains engineer Pasqualotto> Davi Rotilli.
In addition to being the fastest in Brazil, the lift will have a differentiated cabin and an exclusive design. The models installed at the YACHTHOUSE will also receive a traffic management system and access control to the floors to ensure safety and privacy for users.
The works should be completed by the end of the year. Another differential of the structure is that, to prevent the building from oscillating too much, a new structure was created: two floors of each tower were made of reinforced concrete, with a volume three times greater than the common floors, to act as reinforcement In the building.
For the president of Sinduscon (Union of Industry and Civil Construction) of Balneário Camboriú and Camboriú, Nelson Edilberto Nitz, the overheated market makes people look for taller buildings. “There is a very high demand,” he says. Furthermore, the quality of life that the city offers attracts more investors and residents.
“Our civil construction has evolved a lot, professionals have sought innovation, they went to Dubai, Panama, in the United States. You cannot put a building like this without technology, without differentiated studies ”, she concludes.
The apartments – including Neymar’s quadriplex, on the top floor – have a structure for total automation. You can turn off the lights, close the curtains and much more with just your mobile phone.
Sound insulation and even “electronic intercom”. Everything has been built to offer greater comfort and safety to the residents.
